behind the pen: Well, how i got the gear to write this one was simple. i actually was going through my facebook wall (facebook.com/tharealvulocity) and saw a very touching post from a sister to a younger sister. and it from the looks of it, it looked like the younger sister was maybe falling for a guy a little fast and the older sister was just warning her about the issues of falling in love fast. I can kinda relate to that as a guy but to make it more personal i thought about if i was to talk to my little neices. That when it was their time to start dating and watever (hope that day never comes lol) that they dont fall for just any guy who said they love them. So, i took a little time and just wrote this poem for the young girls out there who might think theyre in love or goin to reach at age where they do put their heart on their sleeves. be careful of who you let get a hold of your heart (corny i know) but it's real talk. this can also go to the fellas as well, so dont shy away from this matter as well if you're a guy...cause this is actually how i see things from a guy perspective telling it to a young girl.

She fall for fakes more then she fall for reals,
Because a fake says everything she wanna hear!
Like, she don't ever need to be scare, that he's here to heal,
All that fake talking she loves the appeal!
Forreal? The way he say I love you like it’s so unreal,
Cause it's only been a few days since you met him and it's so for real,
But she doesn’t know that...that's his whole long teenage career!
Sayin I love you's until he fools u dear!
Beware the bear...he's jus there to hunt your rear,
sayin he loves you to lure you near!
Then eats your heart like he never even cared!
He sounds good to your ears, huh?
The way he held you near, huh?
Everyone telling you to slow down ma!
Wait a second don’t fall too fast ma!
But she don’t care cause it feels so real,
All that fake talking sound so surreal,
Got her blind from all the things that's real,
Her closest friend told her that he was jus talkin hot air!
But she don’t listen, she already fell...still in mid-air,
He’s a thief...steals in mid-air,
Don’t wait till your heart is broken to learn your lesson dear,
But what do we know, we just care,
Don’t wait until you learn life isn’t fair,
By then you would've shed so many tears,
So many tears...for so many years
You don’t understand you’re starting on this rollercoaster that so many fear!
You’re thinkin of "no regrets" but forget, that it’s coming from people that's been there
Still there...some people never recover, it takes its toll, no fare
Lookin at shattered pieces of your heart that use to shine, no glare
But she loves the fakes...
Loves how they taste
We're just tellin you to wait and don’t follow our fate
But she says "what about you huh?!"
